St Ives Physiotherapy offers Clinical Pilates Matwork classes run by an experienced Physiotherapist.
Classes are held in our bright, new Studio, located above Toys and Tales, 196 Mona Vale Rd, and last for one hour.
Before joining one of our classes you are required to have an assessment with one of our physiotherapists. During the Pilates assessment the physiotherapist will take a detailed history of any medical or musculoskeletal issues you may have. You will then have a full musculoskeletal assessment where we will assess your mobility, strength and stability as well as providing education and basic core abdominal exercises. The Pilates assessment is a requirement to claim your classes under your private health fund. It is also to ensure the physiotherapist running the class knows about you and your history and can ensure exercises given are safe and appropriate.
Class times:
Monday 9.30 am - 10.30 am
Monday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Saturdays 8 am – 9 am
Saturdays 9 am– 10 am
